New Work by Ashley Howard

This new body of thrown and altered urns and bowls by Ashley are made from a grogged stoneware body. When leather hard, initial layers of thick slips are applied. Further layers of porcelain slips are later built up with a brush. After biscuit firing a variety of glazes are brushed on. Pieces can be subject to multiple firings if required.
