New Ceramics Listed to the Gallery
Some great extruded salt glazed jugs by Walter Keeler just listed. Walter has only recently started making new work again and as always the work shouts quality. Walter's work can be found in a large number of public museums with collections of contemporary ceramics.
Similarly we have a great new body of work by Peter Wills who has also been taking a break from potting but has recently resumed.
A few pieces by Peter Hayes inclduing a very large family group.
Robert Cooper has provided some candlesticks made from found discarded objects from the riverbank. Many of these are from Victorian times and assembled into jaunty candelticks which remain imbued with history.
A couple of lovely thrown stoneware pots by Alex Shimwell and some mugs by Daniel Boyle can also now be found in the gallery. A range of sculpture by the late Ian Gregory including a body of small bird sculptures complete the listing.
