MIAR Ceramics & Arts welcomes Sutton Taylor

Sutton Tylor is one of the leading lustre-ware potters. Producing lustre-ware ceramics is notoriously hard as there is an extremely high failure rate in the production of these beautiful pots.

Sutton is one of the few masters of this craft. Born in 1943 he is based in Cornwall.

You can find examples of his work in museums accross the world including Alhambra Museum, Spain, Los Angreles Museum,USA, Melbourne Museum, Australia,  Musee de Vallauris, France, Munich Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
